Session 3: Convergence+ and its impact Carriers and Enterprises are both getting affected by the onslaught of new wireless technologies and their corresponding business models. The technologies are changing so fast that the business models of operation must change. For example, no sooner had Wi-Fi penetrated the market that Wi-Max came along resulting in everyone having to rethink how the industry should absorb Wi-Max. Enterprises (both public and private) are struggling to understand the new models of operation while the same time as Carriers are trying to explain these models to the enterprises. The panel will discuss how carriers and enterprises are changing to rapidly assimilate and digest the changes due to Convergence+.
